Credit Corporation Aims to Become Niche Commercial Bank in Papua New Guinea

During its annual general meeting, Credit Corporation revealed its ongoing strategy to become a niche commercial bank in PNG. CEO Danny Robinson highlighted the company's efforts to expand services to meet evolving customer needs. A new core banking system was implemented during the year to help deliver new products and offer a comprehensive internet banking platform. This system is also designed to increase Credit Corporation's defences against financial and cyber-crime. Furthermore, the company championed its commitment to employee engagement and diversity. Since 2021, 29 people have completed the company's Accelerate Performance Program aimed at cultivating leadership skills. Women currently hold 44% of board roles, 57% of executive leadership roles, and 45% of management roles.
